"This has to be the most AUTHENTIC Nigerian food I have had since moving to Seattle. The smoky Jollof Rice tasted like it was cooked with fire wood in Lagos somewhere, let’s not even mention the Efo-Riro and peppered goat and chicken…I recommend 100 percent. Tega is the TRUTH"

"I ordered from Tegalicious Kitchen for my guests that were visiting from Nigeria. Everyone loved the food and went back for seconds. Some even asked if they could come back the following day to get more."

"I recently ordered a selection of Nigerian dishes from a tegalicious kitchen—jollof rice, egusi soup, and pounded yam—and I have to say, I was completely blown away by the quality, taste, and presentation of the food. Every bite was a perfect blend of flavor, authenticity, and love. Jollof Rice: This was hands down some of the best jollof rice I’ve ever had. The rice was cooked to perfection—not too soft, not too firm—and the smoky, slightly spicy flavor was absolutely spot on. You could tell it was made with fresh tomatoes and a well-balanced blend of spices. It wasn’t oily, and every spoonful was packed with that signature 9ja party flavor. The aroma alone was mouthwatering! Egusi Soup: The egusi was rich, thick, and incredibly flavorful. You could tell it had been simmered slowly to allow all the flavors to come together beautifully. It had just the right amount of seasoning, and the mix of meats was tender and well-seasoned, adding layers of taste and texture to it. Pounded Yam: Soft, stretchy, and smooth—exactly how pounded yam should be. It paired perfectly with the egusi, soaking up all that delicious soup and making each bite feel like a warm hug. It was fresh and clearly made with care. What truly stood out was the consistency and authenticity. It tasted like a home-cooked meal prepared by someone who knows and respects the culture and flavors of Nigerian cuisine. You can tell this caterer puts heart and soul into her cooking. I’ll definitely be ordering again and recommending her to everyone I know. If you’re craving rich, authentic Nigerian food that delivers both in flavor and quality, look no further!❤️"
